What will you be doing?
Some of the key responsibilities of the role includes:
  • Ensuring each customer is warmly greeted, attended to and farewelled

  • Providing an exceptional customer experience - delivering a high level of customer

    service ensuring every customer leaves the store happy

  • Upholding the ethos and values outlined in the ROWIE The Label Code of Conduct

    as guiding principles for the way you work with our team and with our customers

  • Being an ambassador for the brand - having an excellent understanding of the

    ROWIE The Label as brand, our story, dreams & aesthetics

  • Have a thorough understanding of all aspects of each collection including styles,

    fabrics, fits, sizing & themes

  • Maintaining a beautiful, clean and well presented store and back room at all times

  • Ensuring the store premises is open during advertised trading hours and supervised

    at all times

  • Building ongoing rapport and long term relationships with customers

    Key Daily Tasks:

  • Opening and Closing of the store as per the Store Operations Guidelines

  • Processing all sales, exchanges and returns through Shopify and Tyro

  • Scanning items for sale and ensuring pricing is accurate

  • Cash handling - counting float and cash takings, preparing banking

  • Wrap, bag and gift wrap product with care

  • Keeping up to date on current collections and product knowledge including style

    names, colours and fabrics to assist customers with styling & fit advice

  • Re-stocking and steaming each item as sold to maintain a fully stocked store

  • General cleaning, tidying displays and spacing rails to ensure a beautifully

    presented store at all times throughout the day

  • Processing stock deliveries from the Warehouse

  • Ensuring floral arrangement water remains fresh & clear

  • Stocktaking as requested by Head Office

  • Visual Merchandising as requested by Head Office

  • Proactively seeking new skills opportunities relevant to the role & maintaining

    currency in line with industry standards

  • Responding positively and enthusiastically to any requests for additional duties

    requested by the Boutique Manager, Boutique Supervisor or Head Office team members

Who are we looking for?

Our exceptional Retail sales Assistants will have:

  • Exceptional customer service ability

  • Friendly, outgoing and personable manner

  • Well presented and a passion for the industry

  • Social media savvy

  • Prior experience with CIN7 and Tyro an advantage

  • The ability to work independently

  • A positive, self motivated attitude with a desire to succeed & grow within the role

    and with the company

  • A high level of organisation, efficiency, accuracy and attention to detail

  • A willingness to pitch in and support other boutique team members or areas of the


  • A commitment to exceed expectations in their role

  • A willingness and ability to work weekends, Public Holidays and peak trade times

    (Easter, Christmas, school holiday and local festival periods) as per the roster

  • Ability to de-escalate, resolve and follow up customer concerns efficiently and


Casual Position ( Available to work up to 5 days a week )
