With our business adapting to the challenges the current pandemic presents, our normal practice of delivery has been impacted.

There are delivery delays in our network due to:
reduction in air freight capacity and passenger flights (which also carry our parcels)
a significant increase in parcels that require manual sorting
hygiene and social distancing requirements in our network (such as social distancing through zoning, dedicated shift start times to reduce cross over of workers)
We know these delays are frustrating, and we’re doing everything we can to keep delivering as safely and quickly as possible.

Rural and regional delays
Unfortunately, services to rural and regional areas are experiencing particularly long delays, and the following timeframes are expected:
• Express Post: 1-5 business days or more
• Parcel Post: 3-10 business days or more

Victoria destined parcels
With the massive demand and current workforce capacity constraints in Victoria, we foresee an additional 3-day delay for all deliveries in Victoria.

Express Post delays
Our Express Post service is seeing significant delays in delivery. This means that while we continue to prioritise Express Post, and most parcels shipped via this service arrive on time, some could take 5 business days or more to reach their destination.

Tracking tool
Our tracking tool provides you with the most accurate guidance on estimated delivery dates and advises you of any delays while your parcel is in transit. StarTrack customers should visit the StarTrack tracking tool.

By using Sendle (Courier Please/Fastways) and Startrack on select orders we aim to reduce delivery delays to the best of our ability.

AusPost - 15 September 2020
Australia Post is experiencing international delivery delays in all destinations due to limited airline capacity and government restrictions as a result of COVID-19. Australia Post is working with partner airlines and other postal operators to move items as quickly as possible and clear backlog.

Express service will continue to receive priority despatch for all locations where air capacity is available. Please visit this page for suspension of services for this product to select countries. Signature on delivery for this service impacted in most destinations. 
Standard service delivery timeframes will vary due to limited air capacity and flight cancellations. Where necessary, alternative routing by sea mail for parcels will be used. We anticipate that some delays and/or changes will impact all countries where services are not suspended. Please view the below section on this page for a list of impacted countries.
Estimated International Delivery Speeds – our currently estimated international delivery speeds are set out in the table below. Please leave a minimum of 10 business days after the estimated delivery speeds indicated to raise queries on items travelling via air, and 30 business days for items travelling via sea. Note also that estimated delivery speeds in the table:

1. must be read in conjunction with the location-specific information on this page
2. exclude any time spent in Australian or overseas customs and may be subject to delay due to causes outside of Australia Post's control
3. are based on metropolitan locations within the overseas location, and that more time may be required for rural or remote locations
4. includes the time required for a lodgement to leave Australia, and the time required for delivery within the overseas location
5. do not apply for items lodged between 25 March and 30 April 2020 – these items are subject to additional delays, which we are working hard to process and deliver as soon as possible

For items sent between 25th March and 30th April, additional delivery delays on top of the below have occurred. We are working hard to process all items on hand and deliver them as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience.

Unfortunately this service does not offer signature on delivery, please make sure there is a safe place on premise for your parcel to be left & clear instructions are placed in your order notes.

We highly recommend choosing to ship your order with DHL Express or Express International to ensure your order is safely delivered.
